1. Categories:
A. General Magic
B. Stage Manipulation
C. Grand Illusion
D. Mentalism
E. Close – up Magic.
F. Juniors ( Under 16 years old)
If the judges of the Balkan
Society believe that someone of the contestants belongs to
another category and not to the one that the contestant
chose , they will change that without insulting the
results of the winner of this category.
2. Contestants have to belong to
a magic club of their country – member
that are recognized from the B.M.S. and they
participate with their concurrence. A contestant can
participate in 2 categories (no more). The adult
contestants have to perform a whole act (not just tricks)
at the time of 7 to 12 minutes. If a contestants
overpasses the time act we will be rejected. At Juniors’
category contestants
can perform up to 7 minutes.
3. The judges will be one from
each country – member of B.M.S. Every single judge has
to be fair considering
the :
A. Technical Skills
B. Originality
C. Dramatic elements
D. Impression – Magic
Atmosphere
E. Presentation
Each judge gives up to 100 points.
Awards will be given only to the 3 first winners of each
category. Contestants that receive less than 50 points
will not be announced. If 2 contestants receive the same
points they will share the award. The Grand Prix Prize
will be given to the contestant(s) with the highest score
( score over 90 points) , from any category.
4. A
contestant that has already won a Grand Prix to a previous B.M.C. cannot participate with the same act at the same category.
